The Randy Economy Show Earns Three Finalist Nominations for 58th Annual Southern California Media Awards, including Radio Entertainment Journalist of the Year!

Thank YOU Los Angeles Press Club......The Randy Economy Show was just named a Finalist in three categories for the upcoming 58th Annual Southern California Media Awards!

What a thrilling morning!

I woke up today to the news that The Randy Economy Show was named as a Finalist in three different categories for the 58th Annual Southern California Media Awards, including Entertainment Journalist of the Year.

I was also honored to have been nominated in two additional categories for Personality Profile/Interview for my interview with Duf Sundheim who is a candidate for US Senate here in California.  In addition, our show was named as a finalist in the Best Use of Sound along with my co-host former Los Angeles City Councilman Dennis P. Zine.    Yep.  ZineOMite!

Congrats to all of the finalists.

Now, what the hell am I going to wear.....

Here is a note posted on the LA Press Club Website today....

"Before we congratulate the finalists listed below we want to mention that this was the fiercest competition in the Southern California Journalism Awards 58 year history.  A record number of entries—exceeding 1000—and judged by our sister Press Clubs across the country, including Syracuse, Houston, Cleveland and Florida.
